The benefit of shopping with Yummi Bebé is our open return policy!  We understand that babies and children are constantly growing.  So Yummi Bebé  is here to make clothing purchases for your children an eco friendly and practical experience! This means that items can be returned at any time for a store credit. This includes USED items.  Yes, that’s right, you can return worn, and laundered items.  These items will be resold as a 2nd Generation or 3rd Generation item for a fraction of the cost.  Make sure you brows these links on our web site for some great deals, and eco friendly choices!  At this time we do not pay for shipping on returns.  Damaged items are an exception.

  • Returns fall in 1 of 3 Categories: 

1) General Returns/Exchanges- New items with tags (store credit)

2) Buy Back Return – Items that have been used and laundered (store credit) or recycled if in poor condition

3) Damaged Return – Items that were received damaged, missing parts, or wrong item mailed (Cash issued)


1)  General Returns/Exchanges:

New, unused, and unlaundered items with tags may be returned within 14 days of purchase for 100% of total purchase price as STORE CREDIT.  The items must be in their original condition (unused and unwashed) and in their original packaging (with all tags attached). Once the original item arrives at our warehouse, we will credit your account in the amount that you paid (this excludes any promotional discounts and shipping costs).

New, unused, and unlaundered items with tags returned after 14 days will be issued store credit in the following increments:

  • 15 days – 60 days after purchase: 75% of purchase price will be issued as store credit
  • After 60 Days: 50% of original purchase price will be issued as store credit.
  • Exchanges
    To maintain proper accounting procedures and correct inventory, all exchanges are actually general returns (within 14 days of purchase) and re-purchases through our online store.

    To ensure availability of the item you would like to exchange for or if time is an issue, it is best to place a new order for the item online even before you return the original item for credit back to the original form of payment. We're sorry, but we cannot "reserve" items in anticipation of a return.

2) Buy Back Program Return Policy

- Used and Laundered items may be returned at any time for a possible store credit.  The amount issued will be up to the discretion of Yummi Bebé, and dependant on the following factors:  season, wear and tear, missing pieces and or buttons, stains.

In general we issue store credit through our buyback program as follows:

Poor Condition – no store credit issued.  Items will be recycled!

Fair Condition up to 15% of original purchase price

Excellent condition 25% of original purchase.

Therefore if you purchase an item for $40 you will receive $10 toward

your next purchase.

We encourage you to email us images of your items in advanced so that you will know the amount that will be issued.

3)  Damaged Return
We do our best to carefully inspect each garment in your order before shipping it out to you. Despite our best efforts, we sometimes overlook damaged items. If you received a damaged garment, please contact us immediately! Do not ship damaged item back to us until you contact us.  We will ask that you email a picture of item.

Returns Procedure
If you are making a return within the general return policy guidelines we do not require a return authorization and it is not necessary to notify us that you are sending a return.

Please include a copy of the original sales receipt or packing slip with any return -- without that information we cannot process your request. Please circle the items that you are returning on the copy of the sales receipt or packing slip. We would also love to know the reason for your return so that we may serve you better in future.

If an item was purchased as a set, (for example a top and pants), it must be returned as a set. We will not process returns of incomplete sets.

It is always best to send your package back in a manner that is trackable. Remember, we can only credit you for items received back in our warehouse. Please DO NOT request Signature Confirmation!

We will process your return within a week, credited back to the form of payment used to make the original purchase, and notify you once we do via email. Most credit cards will take 2 billing cycles to reflect your refund, so please be patient.

Return of a Gift
All above information is in effect when returning a gift. Please note, that we will only be able to credit the card used to make the original purchase. If you are returning a gift, you will be issued store credit in the amount of your return and in the form of a coupon code emailed to you (see below for more details). Please write your email clearly on the packing slip that you include with your return so that we may email you your store credit coupon code.

Store Credit
Store credit will be issued in the form of a coupon code or gift card unique to you, sent to you via email. (Returning a gift? Please include your email with your return). To redeem, simply enter the store credit coupon code in the coupon code field during checkout. It will automatically take your store credit amount off your purchase. If your purchase is less than your store credit amount, within 24 hours, we will issue you a new unique store credit coupon code for the remainder of your store credit with us. Please note that store credit does not cover shipping!
